I'd be interested in a relatively easy (not as defined by Marcello, but as defined by a normal, rational person) ride in the morning. Need to save my legs
for my epic ride on the 4th.

Options | ||
|
Option 1: Meet at Union School and do the tri-course (mellow this time)
Option 2: I do a 50 mile course from home that passes Union at about mile 11. The return goes up Hackett to Black River. I go left, you go right? Option 3: We could do your plateau 50 mile ride from Union if you remember it. Option 4: Do hill repeats up Iron Bridge and fantasize that we have Diesel's legs/lungs. Start time dependant upon option. |

"Hackett to Black River" ??? You must mean Black Brook, although with all the rain last night "river" may be more appropos.
How about an easy ride to Milford, along the Delaware to Carpentersville & back via Stewartsville - Asbury - Hampton? Basically a big loop around Jugtown Mtn. What time do you want to meet at Union School? |

I thought for sure you were opting for IB repeats. Your suggested ride works for me. 9:00 am departure from UTS?

Iron Bridge? | ||

OK, now I'm worried about what Diesel's definition of "relatively easy" is! |

Return | ||

Returning via Hampton, correct?

That was my plan, but it sounds like Diesel had other ideas.

No longer disappointed. Wonderful ride sponsored by Sane Cat. Thank you. Question of the day, where in the world was Terex?

Dog Sitting | ||
|
The grand-dog told me that he'd rather go for a walk and play in the back yard than sit in the laundry room for six hours. So I played with him for a while
and went for a ride locally. Ran into some folks I know and went to New Hope for ice cream. Later stopped at Stewarts for root beer. Now that's a ride!
I really do plan to show up tomorrow. New wheels are on and everything is properly adjusted. I will probably be walking hills because I've got the 12-25 on the new wheels instead of the 12-27 that's on the Ksyriums. I'm hoping for a Rt. 29 time trial as opposed to Iron Bridge trials and tribulations. |

Sounds like the dog won out today. Your next dog encounter should be decisive.
Worry thee not about thine gearing. The course is "relatively easy". I rode it earlier this week and never went below 39-21. |

I try not to hold a grudge. :) | ||

A woman I was riding with today had her wrist broken in a dog/bike incident last year. She also broke her Scott in the same incident, but she's still
riding it.
Enjoying some rose' and a baguette on the deck right now. Pan-seared scallops and veggies on the way. Have a great evening! |
